Sedation Dentistry Will Change Your Life! Here's a gift certificate to make the first step easy! 717-398-0418
"I'd rather have a baby than go to the dentist!"
I hear this more than you might think. (Usually from women!) The truth is I'm a dental coward myself. That's right. Just because I'm a dentist doesn't mean I'm a good patient! I become cold and clammy at the sounds and I hate the thought of a needle. That's why I have dedicated my practice to comfortable treatment.
"My teeth are a mess. I'm afraid of what you are going to tell me."
You are not alone. Many people have had bad experiences in the past or as children. With sedation anesthesia, sometimes called sleep dentistry, you can often have years of work caught up in one comfortable visit. Our medical anesthesiologist will provide safe, comfortable, in office conscious sedation anesthesia so you will be in lala land and not care about a thing. Most people say it felt like they sat in the chair and five minutes later they woke up to a new smile!
"Is this a pill that makes you drowsy?"
No. Our dental sedation anesthesia should not be confused with oral or IV sedation provided by just a regular dentist. Our conscious sedation anesthesia is safely provided in our office by a medical anesthesiologist, just like for a colonoscopy or similar procedure.
"How much does it cost?"
Everyone's needs are different. Often with sedation dentistry the overall treatment costs less because there are fewer visits and less time off work. We have comfortable, no interest financing options. I am very good about staying within a budget if I know I need to. Anesthesia costs about $350 per hour.
"I'm embarrassed to smile but I'm scared to come to the dentist."
